Doris Jean Reesor

Mrs. Doris Jean Reesor, 82, of Battletown, KY, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at her residence.  She was a member of the VFW, Brandenburg Moose Lodge and Pets in Need Society.

Mrs. Reesor was preceded in death by her first husband, Dewey Ponds; two sons, Dennis Ponds and Kevin Reesor; three grandchildren, Scotty Logsdon, Cory Mattingly and Jessica Smith; a great-grandson, Brycen Howard; and a great-great grandson, Jayden Owen Naputi.  She is survived by her husband, Walter K. Reesor; four daughters, Oneida Johnston, Brandenburg, KY, Dona Ann Logsdon, Flaherty, KY, Susan J. McConnaha, Custer, KY and Judy Lynn Anthony, Westview, KY; a sister, Nellie P. Brinley, Ohio; 20 grandchildren and 63 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, July 14, 2017, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Johannesburg Boulware officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or to the Pets-in-Need.
