Dorothy Evelyn Riggs

Mrs. Dorothy Evelyn Riggs, age 85, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017, at her residence.  Mrs. Riggs was an avid quilter and loved gardening.  Most importantly, she was the matriarch of her family, whom she loved dearly.

Mrs. Riggs was preceded in death by a son, William T. Riggs; and a sister, Faye Stinnett.  She is survived by two children, Brenda Gail Raley, Brandenburg, KY, and Eric Bryan (Heidi) Riggs, Guston, KY; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren; a brother, Wayne Martin, Guston, KY; and a sister, Sue Lowing, of Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Tony Golladay officiating.  Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1-8 PM on Thursday, and after 9:00 AM on Friday.
