Franklin Smith

Mr. Franklin Smith, 90, of Irvington, KY passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Hardinsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center, Hardinsburg, KY.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Sallie Ann Hays Smith; a sister, Marilyn Dugan; and three brothers, William Carl, James Edward and Curtis Hays Smith.

Mr. Smith is survived by one sister, Verna Mae Trent, Irvington, KY; two nieces, Mary Dugan and Brenda Carter; four nephews, Paul Dugan, David Dugan, Bruce Trent and Gary Trent.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday from the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home with burial in New Highland Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10 AM until 3 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
