George Snow Jr.

Mr. George Snow, Jr., age 78, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Regis Woods Nursing Center in Louisville, KY.  Mr. Snow was an avid fisherman; loved gardening; and loved spending his Sunday afternoons watching NASCAR.

Mr. Snow was born June 24, 1938, the son of George Washington and Nora Lawless Snow.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, lee Snow, Will Snow and Glen Roy; and a sister, Marie Snow.  Mr. Snow is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carol Snow; 9 children, Donnie, Steve, Jeff, Karen and Jeffery Snow, Melanie (Bobby) Acciardo, Deborah (Timmy) Fox, Jeannie Richerson and Anita (Glenn) Mathis; 17 Grandchildren; Eric, Jeremy, George, Steven, Tabitha, Cory and Mazden Snow, Tiffany Smith, Brittany Matayo, Brandon and Katheryn Fox, Christopher and Nicholas Bryant, Brent Close, James David Dobyns, Heather Connell and Alyssa Mathis; and two sisters, Margaret Precell and Ginny Grider.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Junior Titus officiating.  Burial will follow in High Plains Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11-8 PM on Wednesday, and after 9:00 AM on Thursday.
