Gus Owen Dix

Mr. Gus Owen Dix, age 85, of Hudson, KY, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017 at his residence.  Mr. Dix was born November 1, 1932, the son of Eli and Louise Hartman Thomas Dix. 

Mr. Dix was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ann Dix and his two brothers, James Hobert Dix and Donald Dix.  He is survived by three children, Gary Dix, Hudson, KY, Mark (Rebecca) Dix, Brandenburg, KY, Sheri Jayne (Randy) Epperson, Clarksville, IN; a brother, Jesse Pony Dix, Troy, AL; two sisters, Dorothy Louise Benham, Brandenburg, KY, Brenda Joyce Mounce, Somerset, KY; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2017, from the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Randy Epperson and David Delaney officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3-8 PM on Friday, and from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
