Gwendolyn Beatty Bailey

Mrs. Gwendolyn Beatty Bailey, age 72, of Payneville, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at the Brandenburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. One of Mrs. Bailey’s passions was the WHAS Crusade for Children and she loved assisting the Payneville Fire Department with their various roadblocks.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her husband, Harold Bailey; two children, Barbara (Steve) Dowell, and Danny Groce; 9 grandchildren, Amanda Nottingham, Samantha Wooten, David and Dillion Dowell, Travis and Crystal Groce, Heather Abdel-Rahman, Julia Lavin and Kathy Medley; and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Danny Board officiating. Burial will follow in Dry Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, and after 9:00 AM on Saturday.
