James Marcus Denham, Sr.

Mr. James Marcus Denham, Sr., age 74, of Guston, KY, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at his residence.  Mr. Denham loved being a farmer.

Mr. Denham was preceded in death by his parents, James Warlow and Ronalda Hampton Denham; and a daughter, Ruby Denise Denham Moran.  He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ruby Nell Mims Denham; a son, James Marcus Denham, Jr., and his wife, Cheryl; and two grandchildren, Amber and Miranda.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 28, 2017, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry Shacklett officiating.  Burial will follow at 3:00 PM at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 PM on Sunday; and from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association, or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
