Jessica "Sis" Brooks Stewart

Mrs. Jessica “Sis” Brooks Stewart, age 37, of Ekron, KY, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017, from injuries sustained in an accident.  Jessica was a member of Lincoln Trail Christian Church in Irvington, KY; a CNA at Hazelwood Center in Louisville; and a member of Glad Tidings Softball Team.

Jessica was preceded in death by two brothers, Jason and John Brooks.  She is survived by her husband, Craig Stewart; three children, Will and Julia Stewart, both of Ekron, KY, Alley (Jordan) Thomas, Lebanon, KY; two grandchildren, Chase and Preslie Thomas, Lebanon, KY; her parents, Lennie and Jacqueline Brooks, Ekron, KY; two sisters, Jennifer (Jeremy) Higgins, Louisville, KY, Jill Brooks, Ekron, KY; her father and mother-in-law, Bill and Bev Stewart, Louisville, KY; a brother-in-law, Chris Stewart, Louisville, KY; two nephews; four nieces; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Lincoln Trail Christian Church, 506 Valley View Drive, Irvington, KY  40146, with Rev. David Buckham officiating.  Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg from 3-8 PM on Monday, and at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to a memorial fund for Jessica’s children, Will and Julia.
