Jimmy Shemwell

Mr. Jimmy Shemwell, age 52, of Webster, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at his residence. Mr. Shemwell was a Registered Nurse at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital where he was beloved by his residents in the long term care unit and his fellow staff members; a member of the Kentucky Nurses Association; and an avid woodworker.

Mr. Shemwell was preceded in death by his parents, James Nelson and Virginia Joy Baker Shemwell. He is survived by his wife, Lee Ann Thompson Shemwell; a son, Nick Shemwell, Webster, KY; three siblings, Johnny (Suellen) Shemwell, Webster, KY, Jennifer (Allen) Jaglowicz, Elizabethtown, KY, and Jeanette (Greg) Thornton, Greensburg, KY.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Raymond Baptist Church, with Rev. Travis Thomason officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg, from 1-8 PM on Friday, and at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
