Mark David MaeserMay 1, 2017
Mr. Mark David Maeser, age 56, of Brandenburg, KY passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 in Ekron, KY from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mark was a table games dealer for Horseshoe Casino for 18 years. He loved to hunt and fish with his family, and enjoyed all things science fiction; he was the encyclopedia of University of Kentucky basketball; and he loved eating his grilled steak and chicken. Mark was a Catholic by faith, but regularly attended Stithton Baptist Church. Of all things, Mark loved his family and friends the most and cherished all time spent with each of them.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Harlow and Mary Lou Maeser; and his mother-in-law, Dorothy Jones. He is survived by his wife, Tammie Jones Maeser; two children, Christopher McClish, II, McKayla Maeser, both of Brandenburg, KY; 7 siblings and their spouses, Dianne (Dave) Burkes, Birmingham, AL, Janice Lattus, Durham, NC, Nancy (Danny) Davis, Wayne (Liz) Maeser, Sherry (Tim) Winders, all of Louisville, KY, Steve (Nora) Maeser, Shelbyville, KY, Bob (Kelly) Maeser, Caneyville, KY; a sister-in-law, Penny Vincent, Brandenburg, KY; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at the Stithton Baptist Church, 95 Park Avenue, Radcliff, KY, with Rev. Denver Copeland officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00 PM EDT, at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg, IN. Visitation will be held at the church from 3-8 PM on Friday and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
