She was a terrific mother-in-law. Even when my own mother died, she made me feel that I still had a mom caring about me. When she called every year on my birthday, she seemed to plan it so that it would be a time when I wasn't home -- just so she could sing happy birthday and leave it on the machine so that I would get it later. I couldn't bear to erase a single one of them, so I will enjoy them again and again.

I will never forget Deloris teaching me how to ride a bicycle even if it was a girls bike. She worked and worked w/ me at the Newton place. May she rest in peace. Hope Steve remembers me buying gas from he and his dad in Muldraugh.
