Mary Loreda Pike

Mrs. Mary Loreda Pike, age 85, of Payneville, KY, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at her residence.  Mrs. Pike was born June 19, 1932, the daughter of James Hubert and Martha Viola Greenwell Fackler.  She was a lifelong member of St. Mary Magdalen of Pazzi Catholic Church.

Mrs. Pike was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Aloysius Pike; a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Debbie Pike; a grandson, Matthew Pike; and three siblings, Margaret Miller, and James and Raymond Fackler.  She is survived by three children, Leon Pike, and his wife, Debbie, Velana Barr, and her husband, David, and Vernon Pike, all of Brandenburg, KY;   12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and three siblings, Joseph Fackler, and his wife, Bonnie, Bernard Fackler, both of Brandenburg, KY, and Theresa Mattingly, and her husband, Harold, Payneville, KY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at St. Mary Magdalen of Pazzi Catholic Church, with Father Leo Craycroft officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home from 10:30 AM until 2:30 PM on Thursday, and at the church from 3:00 PM until the time of Mass.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Mass of the Air, 508 Breckenridge Lane, Louisville, KY  40207-3833.
