Merrell Eugene "Gene" Adle

Mr. Merrell Eugene “Gene” Adle, age 77, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN.  Gene served as a security guard for the Doe Valley Community for many years; was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Otter Creek Lodge #67; and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Genevieve Adle.  He is survived by his wife, Margaret L. “Peggy” Adle; five children, Kevin Adle, Larry (Rickey) Adle, Timothy Adle, Daniel (Kum Yo) Adle and Gina Adle Pierce; 7 grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and three sisters, Penny Goad, Lois (James) Seamans, and Linda (Harry) Crossway.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Sherman Ramsey officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8 PM on Thursday, 12:00 Noon – 8 PM on Friday, and after 9:00 AM on Saturday.
