Nancy Lee Phillips

Ms. Nancy Lee Phillips, age 61, of Battletown, KY, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at her nephew’s residence in Shepherdsville, KY.  She was born March 3, 1956, the daughter of George Lee Roy and Della Francis Hancock Manning.  Nancy loved to attend bike rallies; was an avid fisherman; and most importantly, loved and cherished her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Frank Manning.  She is survived by her children, Michelle (Beaver) Hoskins, Battletown, KY, Robert (Tiffany) Knight, Bloomingburg, OH; 7 grandchildren, Whitley (Brian) Napier, Cody (Rachel) Hoskins, Dustin, Dakota and Laynee Hoskins, and Jasmine and Kaitlyn Knight; two great grandchildren, Hunter and Emmalynn Napier; six sisters, Sophia (Pete) Reesor, Pat Elliott, Jeannie Miles, Shirley Pipes, Berdie (Ronnie) Nichols, Mary Adams (Mike) Manning; three brothers, James (Linda) Manning, John (Alice) Manning, Bobby (Yvonne) Manning; her nephew with whom she was staying, Dale Salsman; and several other nieces and nephews whom she adored.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at the Blue River Island Baptist Church, Battletown, KY  40104, with Rev. Bob Milburn officiating.
