Ruth Josephine Cardinal Frazier

Mrs. Ruth Josephine Cardinal Frazier, age 96, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017, at her residence.  Mrs. Frazier was a member of the Rebekahs.  She was very involved in her church, serving as a Sunday School teacher for many years.   She loved babies, but most importantly loved and cared for all of her family dearly.

Mrs. Frazier was preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Frazier; three children, Patricia Koester, Connie Ryan and Sheri Swenson; two grandchildren, Carl Robert Frazier, Jr. and Pamela Koester; a brother, Oliver Cardinal; and two sisters, Gladys Rhoem and Betty Ertel.  She is survived by two children, Carol Lee Frazier (Bob) Bruns, Louisville, KY and Carl R. (Peggy) Frazier, Brandenburg, KY; a brother, William Cardinal, Cincinnati, OH; a sister, Joy Hornberger, Milan, IN; 20 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; and her special friend and caregiver, Robin Hardin, Brandenburg, KY.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 24, 2017, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.  Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1-5 PM on Sunday, and after 9:00 AM on Monday.
