SMSGT (Ret) Kenneth Earl ClendeninDecember 3, 2017
SMSGT (Ret) Kenneth Earl Clendenin, age 85, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at his residence. SMSGT Clendenin retired from the United States Air Force after 27 years of service to his country.
SMSGT Clendenin was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Bonnie Higgins Clendenin; a son, Gregory Clendenin; and two sisters, Carol Clendenin and Sue Young. He is survived by five children, Stephen (Donna) Clendenin, New Baden, IL, Pamela (Martin) Bosemer, Stephanie (Neal) Hardin, both of Brandenburg, KY, Kendra (David) Jones, Colorado Springs, CO, Jeff (Lynn) Clendenin, Shiloh, IL; 12 grandchildren, Brek, Natalie, Kamela, Fonda, Keri, Billy, Amber, Caitlin, Brynna, Gregg, Asa and Kenna; 15 great grandchildren, Kell, Chloe, Christopher, Fonda, Anthony, Emilee, Lynnzie, Kaden, Bralen, Christian, Chase, Kaylana, William, Ella and Violet; a great-great grandson, Easton; two sisters, Brenda Prost and Mary Moeller; and a brother, Robert Clendenin.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 8, 2017, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeff Carter officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2-8 PM on Thursday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Friday. Burial, with military honors, will be held at 1:00 PM MST, on Monday, December 11, 2017, at Fairview Cemetery, 1000 S. 26th St., Colorado Springs, CO 80904. SMSGT Clendenin’s son-in-law, Martin Bosemer will officiate. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O.
