TSGT (Ret.) Paul Vernon Davidson, Jr., age 72, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.  TSGT Davidson was retired from the United States Air Force; and was the 1st Commander of the Meade County Memorial VFW Post #11404.

TSGT Davidson was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Vernon, Sr. and Ora Elizabeth Lucas Davidson; a great granddaughter, Adison Ryan Smith; and a sister, Edna Triplett.  He is survived by his ex-wife, Sharon Lee Davidson, Brandenburg, KY; three children, Kimberly D. (Stephen) Webb, Christopher Lee (Amanda) Davidson, both of Irvington, KY, Jeffrey Allan (Michelle) Davidson, Ekron, KY; four grandchildren, Kerstin Brooke Sanders-Smith, Justin Dakota Arnold, Taylor Michelle Davidson, Lucas Gage Davidson; a great granddaughter, Kylee Grace Sanders; three sisters, Libby (Lonnie) Richardson, Westview, KY, Virginia (Ray) Smiley, Brandenburg, KY, Faye (John) Snow, Robards, KY; and two brothers, James Davidson, Payneville, KY and Harold (Analisa) Davidson, Brandenburg, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 22, 2017, at Salem Baptist Church, with Rev. Garry Hicks officiating.  Burial, with military honors will be held at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at 12:30 PM.  Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon- 8:00 PM on Thursday, and at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.
