Alberta Marie "Bertie" Philpott

Mrs. Alberta Marie “Bertie” Philpott, age 79, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was born March 13, 1940, the daughter of Wesley and Lula Evelyn Choate Wilkins. Mrs. Philpott was a member of Rock Haven Baptist Church.

Mrs. Philpott was preceded in death by her husband, L.J. Philpott, Jr.; and a son, David Earl Philpott. She is survived by three daughters, Rita Gail Thompson, and her husband, Steve, Brenda Morgan, and her husband, Neil, Donna Kirkwood, and her husband, Harold, all of Brandenburg, KY; a sister, Betty Davis, Lakeland, FL; 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, June 17, 2019, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.
