Billy Joe "Lockwood" Clarkson

Mr. Billy Joe “Lockwood” Clarkson, age 58, of Ekron, KY, passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2018, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. Lockwood loved to hunt, fish and play pool. He was a kind and giving soul who was loved by everyone in the community.

Lockwood was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman Lee and Margaret Banks Clarkson; a sister, Margaret “Lou” Clarkson; two brothers, William Dean Clarkson and Willie Sherman Clarkson; and a nephew, Darren Clarkson. He is survived by three children, Ariel Margaret Murray, Irvington, KY, Dra Lamont Clarkson and Tanika Louise Clarkson, both of West Point, KY; two sisters, Martha Hardy and Sara Young, both of Louisville, KY; a sister-in-law, Yudell Clarkson, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronnie Cleaver and Sister Tammy Payne officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Sunday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
