Nancy Lynn (Perales) Humphrey

     Mrs. Nancy Lynn Humphrey, age 47, of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at her residence.  She was born June 27, 1976, in Augsburg, Germany.

      Nancy was a born caregiver.  She loved her family and especially her grandbabies.  She always enjoyed having family cookouts and cooking her famous enchiladas and rice.  She also liked to craft and spend time in her swimming pool. Nancy truly had a servant’s heart, helping anyone in need, and was a strong advocate for addiction.

       Nancy was preceded in death by her favorite aunt, Frannie.  She is survived by her husband, Rob Humphrey; three children, Kevin Humphrey and his wife, Nette, Melanie Vittitoe and her husband, Robbie, and Brandon Humphrey and his wife, Victoria; seven grandchildren and one on the way, Kenley Beth, Abbi Lynn, Ellie, and Colten Humphrey, and Emily, Allison “Bug” and Peyton Vittitoe; her parents, Pete and Linda Perales; her sister, Angela Trembley and her husband, Kyle; her brother, Anthony Perales; and two nieces, Lacey “Boo” Trembley and Gracianna Branham.

      Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Nancy’s son, Kevin officiating.  Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Wednesday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health.
