Wayne Clarence LaTondress

     Mr. Wayne Clarence LaTondress, age 82, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin.  Wayne was born on December 13, 1938, the son Louis M. and Irene (Jordan) LaTondress.  He graduated from Meade County High School in 1957 and then served his country in the United States Navy.  In 1965, Wayne began working at DuPont and Reemay, in Old Hickory, Tennessee, until his retirement in 2001.

     Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and eight siblings.  He is survived by two step daughters, Colleen Price and Carey Duchaine; six step grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; his companion, Joyce; and also LaTondress nieces and nephews, too numerous to mention.

     In honoring Wayne’s wishes, cremation has been chosen by the family.  A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with his niece, Bonnie LaTondress officiating.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of service on Saturday.
