Mr. Alfred Andrew “Al” Stankiewicz, age 87, of Brandenburg, KY passed away Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Norton Medical Pavilion Hosparus Inpatient Care Unit, Louisville, KY. Mr. Stankiewicz was born September 20, 1932, the son of Dan and Catherine Dudra. He was retired from B.F. Goodrich Rubber Plant and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; a granddaughter, Tiffany Dawn Stankiewicz; and a son-in-law, Bill Ashabraner. He is survived by four children, Danny (Mary Ann) Stankiewicz, Shepherdsville, KY, Charlie (Sharon) Stankiewicz, Louisville, KY, Donna Ashabraner, Clarksville, IN, and David (Amy) Stankiewicz, Brandenburg, KY; a sister, Sandy (Joe) Carabeni, Harrisburg, PA; seven grandchildren, Drew (McKenzie), Nathan (Shelby), Missy (Angela), Crystal (Jason), Derek (Marcy), Hayley (Andrew) and Sarah; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 21, 2019, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. George Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.
