Alice Sharon LeGrand

Mrs. Alice Sharon LeGrand, age 68, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. Mrs. LeGrand was a member of River of Life Full Gospel Church in West Point, KY, and a former member of the Tabernacle of Worship in Brandenburg. She along with her husband, served as missionary evangelists throughout the United States, Canada and Africa for many years. She was always very active in her church directing plays and serving wherever she was most needed.

Mrs. LeGrand was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin L. and Mary Alice Allen; and two brothers, Steve and Clifford Allen. She is survived by her husband, Eddie LeGrand; three children, Chris (Leigh) Evans, Mark (Jennifer) Evans, both of Bardstown, KY, Vanessa (Greg Farmer) Laufer, Ekron, KY; two step sons, Michael (Mary) LeGrand, Radcliff, KY, Tim (Faith) LeGrand, Cleveland, TN; 8 grandchildren, Haley, Abby, Amelia and Audrey Evans, Micah, Tim, Brian and Cory LeGrand; a great granddaughter, Jahniyah Morrison; three bonus children, Kristie Mikel, Louisville, KY, Meena Heidenrich, Indianapolis, IN, Erin Brandt, Baraboo, WI; a brother, Marvin (Brenda) Allen, Brandenburg, KY; a sister-in-law, Martha McGee, Louisville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Jeffery officiating. Burial will follow in Garnettsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.
