Anthony Raymond Rango

Mr. Anthony Raymond Rango, age 71, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017, at his residence.  Mr. Rango was a proud veteran of the United State Marine Corps, having served in Vietnam; a member of DAV; a member of the VFW; a member of Howard Beach physically challenged group of St. Helen’s; and a member of the New York Disabled Marine veterans of Vietnam.

Mr. Rango is survived by three brothers, Robert (Ellen) Buonpastore, Brandenburg, KY, Alan (Annette) Buonpastore and Ronald (Rosanne) Buonpastore, both of Long island, NY; three nephews, Kristian (Felicia) DiStefano, Nicholas and Ronald Buonpastore; five nieces, Arieanna DiStefano Buonpastore, Denise (Matthew) Skalor, Emily, Molly and Maggie Skalor; his godson, Robert DiStefano; and his beloved friends, John and Carol DiRazzo and Francesca and Nicholas DiRazzo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, with Rev. Kevin Bryan officiating.  Burial, with military honors, will follow at the Buonpastore-DiStefano Family Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home from 10:00 Am until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, and at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass on Thursday.  Vigil services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening.
