Bobby Turner

Mr. Bobby Turner, age 68, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017, at his residence.  Mr. Turner was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, along with various other medals and commendations; and he was a retired operator from Olin Corporation.

Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Edward and Ruth Martin Turner; a daughter, Carolyn Hope Turner; a sister, Dorothy Redmon; and a brother, Frank Turner.  He is survived by two daughters, Leslie Turner, Faith (David) Smith, both of Ekron, KY; three grandchildren, Abby Heck, Aaron Heck, Katie Smith, all of Ekron, KY; two sisters, Carolyn (Willard) Matthews, Brandenburg, KY, Jeanette Sneed, Louisville, KY; and two brothers, Ed (Diana) Turner, Stanley (Cindy) Turner, both of Brandenburg, KY.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary True officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the time of service on Tuesday.
