Carl Walton Trent

Mr. Carl Walton Trent, age 91, of Clarksville, IN passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center, Louisville, KY.  Mr. Trent retired in 1990 from Pohl Iron & Wire Works where he was a welder for 34 years; was a member of Harrison Lodge #122 F.&A.M. for over 50 years; and was an Army Veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Erie Durbin Trent; his parents, Loren Cecil and Bessie Marie Wardrip Trent; a son, Timothy Trent; one sister, Mona Miller; and four brothers, Dick, James, Robert and Bud Trent.  Mr. Trent is survived by three daughters, Joyce Emery, Marylin Dunn, and Carletta Richardson; three sons, Gary, John and Kevin Trent; three brothers, Curley, Lonnie and Roy Trent; ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday from the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 2 until 8 PM Monday and after 9:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
