Carson James Hicks

Carson James Hicks, 5 year old son of Kristina Bowman and Stephen Hicks, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019, at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY. Carson loved playing the drums and singing, especially with his Grandma in Church. He was a boy that loved to be outside. He loved to fish, and ride anything that had an engine, especially four wheelers. Carson was always up to having a water balloon fight and was a huge fan of anything Mario.

Carson was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Brenda Boggs; and his great-great grandparents, Helen Dupin, Dorothy Hart, Carl and Juanita Reesor and Hobert and Teresa Armes. He is survived by his parents, Stephen Hicks and Kristina Bowman, Guston, KY; his grandparents, Steve and Stephanie Hicks, Flaherty, KY, and David and Jessica Bowman, Guston, KY; his great grandparents, Vernon and Audra Armes, Guston, KY, Randy and Patti Dennis, GA, David and Teresa Bowman, Flaherty, KY, and Jim and Sharon Heavrin, Muldraugh, KY; his great-great grandfather, Charles Dupin, Guston, KY; his aunts and uncles, Cameron Hicks, Andrew Bowman, Brooklyn Hicks and Jasalyn Bowman; his beloved puppy, Hercules; and a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Donnie Flood officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington, KY. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, and from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
