Mr. Chase Webster Sanders, age 21, of Guston, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Chase was a mechanic by trade and really enjoyed working on cars and attending car shows, with his brother Craig. He always liked to go Jeep four wheeling with his father, Lonnie as well. He had a huge collection of over 1000 hot wheels. Chase was an animal lover, especially of dogs. He was a baby magnet and loved spending time with his niece, Kylee, his nephew, Maverick, and his little cousin, Amber, as well as, all of his family and extended family. Chase’s latest passion was learning to do taxidermy with his step-father, Howard.
Chase was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Shirley Goodwin. He is survived by his father, Lonnie Webster Sanders, and his wife, Michele, Guston, KY; his mother, Donna Goodwin Kessinger, and her husband, Howard, Battletown, KY; six siblings, Craig William Wright, and his girlfriend, Celena, Brandenburg, KY, Kerstin Brooke Smith, Guston, KY, Deanna Nicole Dages, Battletown, KY, Amber Kessinger, and her spouse, Courtney, Vine Grove, KY, Erica Kessinger, Richmond, KY, and Todd Kessinger, Flaherty, KY; his paternal grandparents, Jimmy Webster and Ann Darlene Sanders, Guston, KY; his niece, Kylee Grace Sanders; and his nephew, Maverick William Wright.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Pastor David Heath officiating. Burial will follow, near his grandparents, in Marve Bennett Cemetery in Battletown, KY. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.
