Danny "Doc" Pipes

Mr. Danny “Doc” Pipes, age 53, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017, in Battletown, KY.  Danny loved riding four wheelers.  His greatest joy was his grandbabies, who along with his family and friends, always were number one to him.  Danny’s family wanted to give one last gift in his honor.  They gave the gift of life, as Danny became an organ donor.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Laverne Humphrey Pipes; and a brother, Bobby Pipes.  He is survived by his wife, Missy Fraley Pipes; a daughter, Ashley Pipes Board, Brandenburg, KY; three grandsons, Jett, Jennings and Joe; his siblings, Ann (Gene) Smith, Carol (Bill) Marsh, Bill (Sharon) Pipes, Patty Reesor and Nick (Robin) Pipes, all of Brandenburg, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

NOTE: DO NOT SEND FLOWERS OR LIVE PLANTS - Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Sherman Ramsey officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the time of service on Saturday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.  THE FAMILY ALSO REQUESTS THAT NO ONE SEND ANY FRESH FLOWERS OR LIVE PLANTS, as Missy cannot be around them after receiving her recent heart transplant.
