Darlene Powell Dillow

Ms. Darlene Powell Dillow, age 62, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018, at her son’s residence in Louisville, KY. Darlene was born February 21, 1956, the daughter of Robert David and Hattie Lucille Dowell Powell.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Patricia Hardesty; and a brother, David Powell. She is survived by two sons, Joe and William Pendleton; five grandchildren, Adreanna, Waylon, Parker, Morgan and Allie; and four sisters, Cindy Glisson, Linda Faye Blair, Mary Raymer and Lois Lane Morgan.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeremey Earnest officiating. Burial will follow at 4:30 PM EDT at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, near Hardinsburg, KY. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
