Donna Ragland Williams

Mrs. Donna Ragland Williams was born on December 1, 1948 to John and Marian Ragland. She left to be with the Lord surrounded by her family and close friends, on Wednesday, October 9, 2019. She was a long-time member of the Women of the Moose, where she served Deputy Grand Regent for the State of Kentucky, Star Recorder and Collegian. She loved spending time with her family and friends and playing with all of her grandkids and great grandkids.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Junior Williams; her sisters, Janice Estep and Sharon Bishop; her brother, Michael Ragland; and her mother-in-law, Lillie Mae Russell. She is survived by three children, Walter “Shorty” Williams, Theresa Haynes, and her husband, Wilson, Lisa Edwards, and her husband, Larry, all of Ekron, KY; four grandchildren, Jessica Miller, and her husband, Adam, Mary Vaught, and her husband, Aaron, Christopher Haynes, and his wife, Aimee, and Kayla Edwards; five great grandchildren, Caleb Vaught, Lexi “Sapphire” and Jasmyn Haynes, and Luke and Wyatt Miller; four brothers, Gary Ragland, Johnny Ragland, and his wife, Linda, Larry Ragland, and his wife, Terri, and Danny Ragland, and his wife, Tara; and two sisters, Debbie Raymond, and her husband, Joe, and Patty Humphrey. She is also survived by a very special friend of forty plus years, Monty Pirtle, and her husband, Jon; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, October 14, 2019, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Deacon Mike Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Ekron Full Gospel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 PM on Sunday, and after 9:00 AM on Monday.
