Floyd Dowell

Mr. Floyd Dowell, age 84 of Irvington, KY passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Signature Healthcare North Hardin, Radcliff, KY. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Scotty Smith.

Mr. Dowell is survived by his wife, Betty Fenwick Dowell; four children, Ricky (Sandy) Dowell, LaGrange, KY, Deborah (Kevin) Leitner, Flaherty, KY, Crystal (Chuck) Young, Mt. Washington, KY and Karen (Gary) Hendrickson, Hodgenville, KY; three step-children, Mary (Steve) Arterburn, Shepherdsville, KY, Bill Zdenek, Westview, KY and Frank Zdenek, Brandenburg, KY; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday from the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home with Brother Gary Hendrickson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Friday and after 9:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
