Gary Keith Burnett

Mr. Gary Keith Burnett, age 56, of Flaherty, KY, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018, from injuries sustained in automobile accident. Gary served his country as a SFC in the United States Army National Guard, being deployed in Iraq for over fourteen months. Gary loved his guns and was a member of the NRA. He was currently working as a Security Guard for U.S. Security Associates; and was formerly employed by Kentucky MATES .

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Leroy and Nancy Joyce Farmer Burnett; and a sister, Sherri Burnett. He is survived by his loving wife, Edna “Terry” Burnett; two children, Michael Burnett, and his wife, Betty Raschella, West Virginia, and Katie Burnett, Vine Grove, KY; a brother, Jeff Burnett, and his wife, Jennifer, Paducah, KY; and two grandchildren, Phoenix and Madison Raschella.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Campbell officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019, at 2:30 PM, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the time of service on Saturday.
