Glenn Edward Staples

Mr. Glenn Edward Staples, age 51, of Union Star, KY, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017, at the Hosparus in-patient unit of the Norton Medical Pavilion in Louisville, KY.  Glenn was born October 14, 1965, the son of Henry Garland and Rita Mae Fackler Staples.  Glenn’s passion in life was his family and serving His Lord.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Tiffany Staples; six children, Brittney (Ashlie) Staples, Shane (Lindsay) Staples, Shelby Staples, Saxton Staples, Lillian Staples and Alex Staples; his siblings, Tony (Kathy) Staples, Brenda (Bill) Knott, Pam (Mike) Thompson, Ricky (Brenda) Staples, Bernie (Vickie) Staples, Cheri (Sammy) Terry, and Kevin Staples; his best friend, Jeff Stull; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at St. Mary Magdalen of Pazzi Catholic Church, with Rev. George Illakkel officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of mass on Wednesday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hager Funeral Home to aid the family with expenses.
