Hazel Mae McAnelly

Mrs. Hazel Mae McAnelly, age 83, of Louisville, KY passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Norton Women’s and Children Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born March 21, 1935 in Decatur, AL, the daughter of Elmer Thomas and Rebecca Martin Wood.

Mrs. McAnelly was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; and three sons, Charlie McAnelly, Danny Prough and Alfred Hawks. She is survived by one daughter, Angela Toler, Louisville, KY; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Bridge officiating. Burial will follow in Grahampton Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the charity of the donor’s choice.
