Henrietta Jones Duncan

Mrs. Henrietta Jones Duncan, age 90, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Duncan was born December 5, 1927, the daughter of Harry Martin “Fred” and Nettie Mae Brooks Jones.  She was a member of Clair Memorial United Methodist Church where she was active in the Women’s Connection.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Duncan; a son, William Henry Perks; and a daughter, Pauletta Smith.  She is survived by 8 children, Rosetta Sutton, Mae Wanda (Fred) Ditto, Harry Duncan, all of Brandenburg, KY, Leona (Jerry) Mills, Henry (Judy) Duncan, Jr., both of Irvington, KY, Frank (Brenda) Duncan, Martel Duncan-Payne, both of Louisville, KY, Marilyn (Roy) Duncan, Ekron, KY; 22 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 15, 2017, at Clair Memorial United Methodist Church, with Rev. Ronald Mucker and Rev. Johnetta Mucker officiating.   Burial will follow in Brooks Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg from 3-8 PM on Thursday, and after 9:00 AM on Friday.
