Hunter Scott Haynes

Mr. Hunter Scott Haynes, age 61, of Big Spring, KY, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Hunter loved the outdoors and especially animals. Any animal that Hunter encountered always found their way home with him.

Hunter was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Henry and Mary Nell Ferguson Haynes; and his daughter-in-law, Carla Scott Haynes. He is survived by three sons, Garnie Wayne Haynes, Lexington, KY, Sidney Scott Haynes, and his wife, Kasey, Guston, KY, Brandon Dale Haynes, Radcliff, KY; his girlfriend, JoAnn Becker, Big Spring, KY; three siblings, Wilson Keith Haynes, and his wife, Theresa, Ekron, KY, Nancy Roland Steinbrunner, and her husband, Mike, Charleston, SC, Bradley Kevin Haynes, Guston, KY; his sister-in-law, Marita Haynes; four grandchildren, Beckett Kincaid Scott Haynes, Jayden Scott Haynes, Breonna Haynes and Jaxxson Haynes; the mother of his children, Sissy Ray Carby, Radcliff, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2019, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Garry Hicks officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Monday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
