James G. "Greg" Masterson

Mr. James G. “Greg” Masterson, age 59, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Norton Downtown Hospital in Louisville, KY. Greg was a member of Buck Grove Baptist Church; and a United States Army veteran serving in Desert Storm.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Masterson; and his mother and step father, Martha and William Bassett. He is survived by his wife, Connie Masterson; three children, Mary Elizabeth Masterson, Hinesville, GA, SFC Pamula Carol (Christopher) Whicker, Shreveport, LA, James Gregory Masterson, Jr., Brandenburg, KY; three grandchildren, Emerald Brook Eberenz, Thomas Aaron Hunter and Saphire Rose Masterson; 13 siblings, Mary Lillian Kendall, Payneville, KY, Joe Hager, George Masterson, Martha Speaks, Geraldine Shanahan, Patty Taylor, William Masterson, Paul Edward Masterson, all of Brandenburg, KY, Bert Hager, Dallas, TX, Rose Heard, Rockfield, KY, Joann Powell, New Albany, IN, Jeannie Allen, Guston, KY and John Masterson, Flaherty, KY; three special friends, Jeramy Richardson, Maranda Shibley and Trevor Richardson, all of Brandenburg, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Buck Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. David Campbell officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, and at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Wednesday.
