John Lawrence Kenley, Jr.

Mr. John Lawrence Kenley, Jr., age 69, of Battletown, KY, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at his residence. Mr. Kenley was born November 18, 1948, the son of John Lawrence, Sr. and Mildred Orene Bennett Kenley. He was a member of Cold Spring Baptist Church.

Mr. Kenley is survived by his wife, Glody Kenley; four children, Donald, Jimmy, Mary Ann and Diane Kenley, all of Battletown, KY; a step daughter, Crystal Simota, Brandenburg, KY; a step grandson, Brendan Simota; a sister, Brenda Blomquist, English, IN; four granddaughters; four grandsons; 10 great grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Terry Mullins and Brother Jensen Riddle officiating. Burial will follow in Haynes Cemetery in Battletown, KY. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
