Karen Lee Hutchins

Ms. Karen Lee Hutchins, age 69, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Guston, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at Baptist Health. Karen was born February 14, 1950, the daughter of Charles Albert and Lottie Newton Sherrill. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and formerly attended Patteson Memorial Presbyterian Church while in Guston.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Charlotte Whitworth. She is survived by her brother, Sig Sherrill, and his wife, Hazel, Fairdale, KY; a nephew, Andy Sherrill, Louisville, KY; a niece, Kim Oldham, Louisville, KY; three great nieces and nephews, Shelby Sherrill, Katelyn Klein and John Tyler Sherrill-Klein; two aunts, Libby and Almeda; and several cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Randy Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington, KY. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday; and after 9:00 AM on Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
