Larry Brashear Obituary

Mr. Larry Clinton Brashear, age 76, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN. Larry was born November 4, 1941, the son of Leland Stanford and Maggie Pope McCulley Brashear. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a former member of the Brandenburg Moose Lodge.

Mr. Brashear is survived by his wife, Barbara Raymer Brashear; six children, Maggie Carol (Steve) Burk, Mt. Juliet, TN, Melena (Barry) Shilts, Mike (Beki) Clark, Marita (Bradley) Haynes, Mary (Donnie) Bishoff, all of Brandenburg, KY, Mark (Connie) Clark, Ekron, KY; a brother, Ruby L. Brashear, Houston, TX; 20 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 5, 2018, at the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Bridge officiating. Burial will follow in Ekron Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Sunday, and after 9:00 AM on Monday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
