Lawrence "Larry" Greenwell

Mr. Lawrence “Larry” Greenwell, age 74, of Webster, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.  Larry was born November 22, 1942, the son of Joseph Lawrence and Margaret Isabella Brown Greenwell.  He was retired from General Electric.

Mr. Greenwell was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Alton and Wallace Greenwell; and a sister, Thelma Hardesty.  He is survived by his wife, Peggy Sue Pollock Greenwell; three children, Leigh Ann (Shannon) Smith, Jody Greenwell, both of Webster, KY and Sandy (Jerry) Tilley, Payneville, KY; five grandchildren, Craig, Amanda, Austin, Ethan and Elyssa; three great grandchildren, Caden, Logan and Daniel; and three sisters, Mildred Barr, Mary Gene Greenwell, both of Brandenburg, KY, and Phyllis (Marvin) Rhodes, Georgetown, IN.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at St. Mary Magdalen of Pazzi Catholic Church, with Father George Illakkal officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 3-8 PM on Friday at Hager Funeral Home; and from 9:00 AM until the time of mass on Saturday at the church.  Prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening.
