Margaret Farris Jantzen

Mrs. Margaret Farris Jantzen, age 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 25, 2017, at Brandenburg Nursing and Rehabilitation. In her early, life she lived and worked in Illinois and Colorado and then returned to her home in Kentucky in her twenties. She worked at Keller Manufacturing and the US Postal Service.

Mrs. Jantzen was preceded in death by parents, Jess and Bertha Oakes Farris; her brother, Marshall Farris; her nephew, Charles Farris; and her husband, Dalton Jantzen. She is survived by her stepsons Dalton Jr, Jim, and Bobby Jantzen; and her nieces and nephews, Shirley and Tom Meadows of Battletown Kentucky, Hilda Farris of Brandenburg, Jackie Brown of Shepherdsville, Brian and Kim Farris of Richmond, Staci Farris of Louisville.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Parr-Frans Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4-8 PM on Saturday.
