Melissa Ann Harman Allen

Mrs. Melissa Ann Harman Allen, 50, of Louisville, KY, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Norton Audubon Hospital, Louisville, KY.  She was preceded in death by her husband, David Anthony Allen; her father, Joseph B. Harman; and a brother, Christopher W. Harman.

Mrs. Allen is survived by two children, Erika (Chris) Singleton and Anthony (Jamie Edsell) Allen, Vine Grove, KY; five grandchildren, Addison and Abigail Allen, Memphis, Maci and Casen Singleton; her mother, Bridget Hughes Harman, Louisville, KY; two sisters, Laura (Alan) Smith, Corydon, IN and Shannon (Bill) Walker, Vine Grove, KY; two brothers, Scott B. Harman, Louisville, KY and Todd J. Harman, Brandenburg, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Bolin officiating.  Burial will follow in Ekron Full Gospel Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 until 9 PM Tuesday and after 9:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
