Michael Barger Obituary

Mr. Michael Eugene Barger, age 67, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at University of Louisville Hospital. Mr. Barger was born January 1, 1951, the son of Kenneth and Martha Nell Hardesty Barger. He was a member of the Brandenburg Moose Lodge.

Mr. Barger is survived by his wife, Dale Barger; two children, Joshua Michael (Paula) Barger, Shannon Jolane (Jeremy) Vessels, both of Brandenburg, KY; two grandsons, Cole and Clay Vessels; his mother, Martha Nell Barger, Hardinsburg, KY; a sister, Sharon Bruner, Brandenburg, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Honoring Mike’s request, the family has chosen cremation. Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Bluegrass Center for Autism, 1250 Bardstown Road, Suite 15, Louisville, KY 40205.
