Michael S. Young

Mr. Michael S. Young, age 68, of Louisville, KY, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017, at Jewish Hospital.  Mr. Young was born on February 26, 1949, in Irvington, KY, the son of Jessie James and Joy Bell Haynes Young.

Mr. Young was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark and Paul Young.  He is survived by his loving wife, Sara Clarkson Young; six children, Damon (Shantell) Young, Rondell Watts, Kim Watts, Michelle Young, Shanice Young, all of Louisville, KY, Ulonda (Kilo) Kialoa, Radcliff, KY; three step children, Brian Watts, California, Anthony Watts, Terry Clarkson, both of Louisville, KY; two brothers, Harry Young, Radcliff, KY, Bryan Moorman, Irvington, KY; five sisters, Sherry Ditto, Marcella Duncan, both of Irvington, KY, Cassandra Crouch, Brandenburg, KY, Donna Moorman, Louisville, KY, Anita Duncan, Hardinsburg, KY; a sister-in-law, Nancy Young, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Stan Young officiating.  Burial will follow in Guston Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Friday.
