Phillip Shireman Obituary

Mr. Phillip Kent Shireman, age 74, of Union Star, KY, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at his residence. Kent was born January 14, 1945, the son of Gilbert E. “Peck” and Beulah Shireman. He was a member of the International Union of Electrical Radio Machine Workers, lue-Cwa Local 83761; a member of the Masonic Lodge; and a member of the ATA amateur trapshooting association.

Kent was preceded in death by his parents; his twins, Michael and Michelle Shireman; and a brother, Gary Shireman. He is survived by two sons, Philip L. Shireman, and his wife, Jennifer, Flowery Branch, GA, Quinn K. Shireman, and his wife, Melissa, Brandenburg, KY; five grandchildren, Cameron, Tyler, Savannah and Quinn Michael Shireman, and Kole Wayne Allen; two brothers, Alan and Mark Shireman; and his longtime friends, Tony and Amanda Brown.

In honoring Kent’s wishes, his boys have chosen cremation. A private family service was held at Hyland Cemetery in Mauckport, IN. Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
