Rev. Dr. Ray Thomas Tower, Jr.

Rev. Dr. Ray Thomas Tower, Jr., age 70, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at his residence.  Dr. Tower received his Doctrine in Theology from the University of San Francisco; he served as the pastor of  Meade County Baptist Temple for 30 years; and was a member of the Sunset Masonic Lodge F.&A.M.

Dr. Tower was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Thomas, Sr. and Virginia Caskey Tower.  He is survived by his wife, Linda Tower; three sons, Sean, Tim and James Tower; a daughter, Jennifer Hammond; a sister, Carol Kauffman, St. Petersburg, FL; two grandsons, Jared and Jackson Tower; and 9 nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, May 19, 2017, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Shaw officiating.  Burial will follow in Garnettsville Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon – 8:00 PM on Thursday, and after 9:00 AM on Friday.
