Roger G. Ogburn

Mr. Roger G. Ogburn, age 53, of Guston, KY, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019, at the Norton Hosparus In-patient unit in Louisville, KY. Mr. Ogburn was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. He was foremost a loving husband, devoted father and overall family man. Roger was a farmer, helping many in our local communities as a Crop Advisor for Nutrien Ag Solutions. He also was an avid outdoorsman, who thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, Donald Grant Ogburn. He is survived by his wife, Anna Stone Ogburn; six children, John Ogburn, Harned, KY, Bethany Wilfong, and her husband, Brandon, Hardinsburg, KY, Jacob Ogburn, Brandenburg, KY, Luke Ogburn, Caleb Ogburn and Joshua Ogburn, all of Guston, KY; four grandchildren, Kate, Kevin, Jesse and Waylon; his mother, Olivene Ogburn, Carrollton, KY; a sister, Becky Croxton, and her husband, Garry, Milton, KY; two brothers, David Ogburn, Carrollton, KY and Wesley Ogburn, and his wife, Brenda, Shelbyville, KY.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM EDT, on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, from Pleasant View Baptist Church, 6700 Highway 261, McQuady, KY 40153. Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home, 633 Bland Street, Brandenburg, KY 40108, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM EDT on Tuesday, and at the church, from 1:00 PM EDT until the time of service Wednesday.
