Roger Ritchie Obituary

Mr. Roger Paul Ritchie, age 63, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville. Roger was a prankster who loved to laugh, spend time with his family and party. He enjoyed music and dominoes, but his new mission was helping homeless veterans in any way that he possibly could.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Edwin and Dorothy Virginia Broy Ritchie; and two brothers, William and Robert Ritchie. He is survived by two children, Jill Benham, and her husband, Larry, Flaherty, KY, Jordan Ritchie, and his wife, Christy, Louisville, KY; two grandchildren, Dylan and Claire Benham; and a brother, Norman Ritchie, Brandenburg, KY.

Graveside services, with military honors, will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, August 3, 2018, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 N. Dixie Boulevard, Radcliff, KY 40160, with Rev. Johnny Spray officiating. Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg has been entrusted with arrangements.
